The renovation recovers what was valuable in the building: the timber posts and beams, the plaster cornices and ceiling roses and the marble fireplace. Everything new steps back, in white and with simple lines.

The old timber, cleaned and left unvarnished, frames the passages between rooms over an oak floor.
